About the event
A journey through 4.6 billion years of Earth's history This edition is facilitated in Dutch.
What if every metre you walked represented one million years?
The Deep Time Walk is a guided head-heart-body experience that invites participants to walk through the entire history of our planet in just 4.6 kilometres. As we move through deep geological time, we explore the emergence of stars, oceans, life, ecosystems, extinction events and, eventually, ourselves.
The walk offers a powerful shift in perspective. By physically experiencing the age of our planet, participants are invited to step outside the urgency of daily life and reconnect with the much larger story of which we are part.
Expect a combination of science, storytelling, reflection, silence, conversation and wonder.
This is not a lecture, a workshop or a hike.
